Currently, we are recruiting for a BAS Commissioning Engineer (m/w/d) for a major data centre project in Helsinki, Finland.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support BAS/BMS commissioning activities across the data centre project.
• Carry out functional testing, system verification, and troubleshooting of BAS/BMS systems.
• Review control strategies, sequences of operation, schematics, and commissioning documentation.
• Coordinate with BAS/BMS contractors, MEP teams, commissioning managers, and project stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve commissioning issues, defects, and punch-list items.
• Support Integrated Systems Testing (IST) and final commissioning activities.
• Maintain commissioning records, test documentation, and close-out deliverables.

Requirements

• 3–5 years’ experience in BAS/BMS commissioning, controls engineering, or a similar role.
• Experience working on large-scale commercial, industrial, or data centre projects.
• Strong knowledge of BAS/BMS, HVAC controls, sensors, actuators, and control systems.
• Experience with functional testing, troubleshooting, and system verification.
• Ability to read control schematics, sequences of operation, and technical specifications.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
• Engineering, electrical, controls, or building services qualification is desirable.
• Data centre commissioning experience is highly desirable.
