Currently, we are searching for a Commissioning Manager (m/w/d) for a long-term project based in Munich, Germany.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all commissioning activities on site, including setup, execution, and close-out of the commissioning plan.
  • Lead and manage commissioning and testing personnel on site.
  • Oversee commissioning tagging processes and procedures.
  • Report progress on all commissioning activities internally and externally.
  • Chair weekly commissioning meetings and direct daily coordination meetings.
  • Lead daily whiteboard meetings related to commissioning activities.
  • Coordinate closely with the General Contractor and client teams, ensuring accurate weekly reporting.
  • Develop and maintain the project commissioning schedule in collaboration with the project planner.
  • Manage Lock Out ย– Tag Out (LOTO) processes and procedures.
  • Control and manage area permits, particularly within critical environments such as electrical switch rooms.
  • Compile, verify, and sign off all testing and commissioning documentation.
  • Coordinate commissioning schedules with trades, package leads, consultants, and client representatives.
  • Track site personnel and ensure daily labour allocation reports are maintained.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in commissioning management within large-scale construction or engineering projects.
  • Strong background in commissioning processes, systems testing, and project delivery.
  • Experience managing multidisciplinary teams on complex projects.
  • Solid understanding of commissioning scheduling, documentation, and reporting.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures including LOTO and permit-to-work systems.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-performance project environment.
  • Relevant technical or engineering qualification preferred.
