Currently, we are searching for a Commissioning Manager (m/w/d) for a long-term project based in Munich, Germany.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all commissioning activities on site, including setup, execution, and close-out of the commissioning plan.
- Lead and manage commissioning and testing personnel on site.
- Oversee commissioning tagging processes and procedures.
- Report progress on all commissioning activities internally and externally.
- Chair weekly commissioning meetings and direct daily coordination meetings.
- Lead daily whiteboard meetings related to commissioning activities.
- Coordinate closely with the General Contractor and client teams, ensuring accurate weekly reporting.
- Develop and maintain the project commissioning schedule in collaboration with the project planner.
- Manage Lock Out ย Tag Out (LOTO) processes and procedures.
- Control and manage area permits, particularly within critical environments such as electrical switch rooms.
- Compile, verify, and sign off all testing and commissioning documentation.
- Coordinate commissioning schedules with trades, package leads, consultants, and client representatives.
- Track site personnel and ensure daily labour allocation reports are maintained.
Requirements
- Proven experience in commissioning management within large-scale construction or engineering projects.
- Strong background in commissioning processes, systems testing, and project delivery.
- Experience managing multidisciplinary teams on complex projects.
- Solid understanding of commissioning scheduling, documentation, and reporting.
- Knowledge of safety procedures including LOTO and permit-to-work systems.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-performance project environment.
- Relevant technical or engineering qualification preferred.
