We are currently partnering with a leading contractor on a major Data Centre construction project in Vaasa, Finland, and are recruiting an experienced CSA Supervisor (m/w/d) to join the project team.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day Civil, Structural and Architectural (CSA) construction activities on a large-scale Data Centre project.
- Oversee subcontractors and site personnel, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with project specifications.
- Coordinate daily site activities, manpower allocation and work sequencing to meet project schedules.
- Monitor construction progress against programme milestones and report any delays or potential issues to the project management team.
- Ensure all CSA works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, technical specifications and quality standards.
- Work closely with engineering, construction management, MEP and other package supervisors to ensure effective coordination across all disciplines.
- Monitor site safety standards and ensure compliance with project HSE procedures and requirements.
- Review construction drawings, method statements, risk assessments and inspection and test plans.
- Oversee quality control inspections, identify deficiencies and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Manage snagging, punch lists and close-out activities for assigned CSA packages.
- Attend daily coordination meetings, toolbox talks and progress meetings.
- Maintain accurate daily reports, progress updates and site documentation.
- Ensure materials, plant and equipment are available to support planned construction activities.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a CSA supervisory or similar construction role.
- Previous experience working on large-scale construction or Data Centre projects is highly desirable.
- Strong technical knowledge of Civil, Structural and Architectural construction activities.
- Proven experience supervising subcontractors and coordinating multiple site teams.
- Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
- Good understanding of construction methodologies, quality control and site safety requirements.
- Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven construction environment.
- Fluent English communication skills.
- Must hold an EU passport or have an existing valid right to work in Finland without requiring visa sponsorship.
