Overview
We are seeking an experienced EHS Lead to join a major data centre project in Frankfurt for the main contractor. We requires a strong safety leader to drive best-in-class Environmental, Health & Safety standards across the site.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage all EHS activities on site for the data centre project
- Ensure full compliance with local German regulations, EU directives, and company policies
- Develop, implement, and maintain site-specific EHS plans and procedures
- Conduct risk assessments, audits, and inspections
- Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions
- Promote a strong safety culture through training and engagement
- Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure consistent EHS standards
- Report on EHS performance to senior management
- Requirements
- Proven experience as an EHS Lead / Manager on large-scale construction projects (data centre experience highly desirable)
- Strong knowledge of construction safety regulations (EU/Germany preferred)
- Relevant EHS qualifications (e.g. NEBOSH, IOSH or equivalent)
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders on a fast-paced project
