Currently, we are recruiting on behalf of a client for an experienced MEP Coordinator to support a major Data Centre Project in Gävle, Sweden. This is a large hyperscale data centre development offering the opportunity to work within a fast-paced mission-critical construction environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate MEP subcontractors and design teams across the project.
  • Organise and chair MEP coordination meetings.
  • Manage and track RFIs, progress reports, drawings, and subcontractor programmes.
  • Monitor installation progress and identify delays or programme impacts.
  • Carry out site inspections and report non-conformances where required.
  • Support coordination between site operations, engineering teams, subcontractors, and commercial teams.
  • Coordinate as-built drawings, O&M manuals, and handover documentation.
  • Support Health & Safety compliance across all MEP activities on site.
  • Participate in planning and coordination meetings with project stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Previous experience within MEP Coordination roles on construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical installation activities.
  • Experience coordinating subcontractors and multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Ability to read and review technical drawings and specifications.
  • Experience managing RFIs, reporting, and coordination documentation.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work within fast-paced construction environments.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • Previous experience on data centre or mission-critical projects.
  • Experience within industrial, pharmaceutical, infrastructure, or large commercial projects.
  • Familiarity with tools such as BIM 360, Procore, Aconex, Navisworks, AutoCAD, or similar platforms.
  • Strong Health & Safety awareness on live construction sites.
  • EU working rights preferred.
