Currently, we are recruiting on behalf of a client for an experienced MEP Coordinator to support a major Data Centre Project in Gävle, Sweden. This is a large hyperscale data centre development offering the opportunity to work within a fast-paced mission-critical construction environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate MEP subcontractors and design teams across the project.
- Organise and chair MEP coordination meetings.
- Manage and track RFIs, progress reports, drawings, and subcontractor programmes.
- Monitor installation progress and identify delays or programme impacts.
- Carry out site inspections and report non-conformances where required.
- Support coordination between site operations, engineering teams, subcontractors, and commercial teams.
- Coordinate as-built drawings, O&M manuals, and handover documentation.
- Support Health & Safety compliance across all MEP activities on site.
- Participate in planning and coordination meetings with project stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience within MEP Coordination roles on construction projects.
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical installation activities.
- Experience coordinating subcontractors and multidisciplinary project teams.
- Ability to read and review technical drawings and specifications.
- Experience managing RFIs, reporting, and coordination documentation.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work within fast-paced construction environments.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience on data centre or mission-critical projects.
- Experience within industrial, pharmaceutical, infrastructure, or large commercial projects.
- Familiarity with tools such as BIM 360, Procore, Aconex, Navisworks, AutoCAD, or similar platforms.
- Strong Health & Safety awareness on live construction sites.
- EU working rights preferred.
