Currently, we are recruiting an Operations Manager (m/w/d) for an OSM / Prefabrication facility in Schönebeck, Germany.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations across the OSM / prefabrication facility.
- Manage production scheduling, labour planning, resources, and work-in-progress.
- Lead and develop the workshop supervision team.
- Ensure production deadlines, quality standards, and safety requirements are met.
- Implement quality control and continuous improvement measures.
- Manage inventory and coordinate material requirements.
- Oversee equipment maintenance and operational performance.
- Coordinate with internal departments and clients to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Identify and resolve production and operational issues.
Requirements
- Minimum 57 years experience in a similar Operations, Production, Manufacturing, or Workshop Management role.
- Third-level qualification in Engineering, Construction, Production, Manufacturing, or a related discipline.
- Experience managing manufacturing, prefabrication, production, or workshop operations.
- Strong leadership, organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with MRP systems.
- Working knowledge of mechanical plant, ventilation, process and high-purity pipework, and HVAC systems.
- Strong understanding of safety, quality, and industry regulations.
- Lean / Six Sigma experience is advantageous.
- German and English language skills are advantageous.
