Currently, we are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Senior Planner to support a major Green Steel Project. This is a high-profile industrial mega-project focused on sustainable steel production and large-scale EPCM delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain integrated Level 3 and Level 4 Primavera P6 schedules across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.
- Monitor project progress against baseline schedules and identify delays or deviations.
- Analyse critical path activities and support mitigation and recovery planning.
- Coordinate planning inputs across multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors.
- Prepare weekly and monthly schedule reports, dashboards, and lookaheads.
- Support construction sequencing, commissioning integration, and milestone tracking.
- Participate in planning meetings and provide schedule-driven recommendations.
- Support change management, delay analysis, and schedule risk activities.
- Ensure planning standards and procedures are consistently applied across the project.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 7+ years of planning experience within EPC, industrial, energy, or large-scale construction projects.
- Strong Primavera P6 experience is essential.
- Good understanding of construction sequencing and project controls principles.
- Experience working on complex multidisciplinary projects.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within fast-paced international project environments.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience on industrial mega-projects, energy, data centre, or heavy industrial projects.
- Knowledge of commissioning and turnover planning processes.
- Previous EPCM project experience is advantageous.
- Scandinavian project experience is considered an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
