We've come a long way — but the most exciting part of the journey is still ahead.


From our first project in 2012, SilverBack has been refining our answer to one of construction’s most persistent challenges: finding, placing, and retaining the specialized talent that high-tech projects demand.


We learned early what it takes to move the right people to the right place at the right time. Core to our offering, then as now, is a fully managed service — we take ownership of recruitment, compliance, mobilization, and all on-the-ground logistics, so our clients can focus on building and our project staff can focus on the work.

Evolution

A new generation of mega-projects is reshaping North America’s industrial footprint — data centers, advanced manufacturing, and clean energy facilities that are bigger, faster, and more technically complex than anything before them. They all share one challenge: a shortage of skilled people to build them.


In 2020, SilverBack made a pivotal move — expanding our offering to include white-collar professional and technical staff. The intent was deliberate: move up the value chain and get into the conversation earlier, when workforce strategy is being shaped rather than scrambled for. That model is what we’re bringing to the US market.

Data centers, semiconductor fabs, advanced manufacturing plants — these are the buildings the future runs on. Our project staff are helping to build them, having already logged more than 4.5 million man-hours on transformative projects across a decade.


2026 marks a defining milestone: the full launch of SilverBack’s professional and technical staffing offering in the United States.

Transformation

This expansion of our offering has enabled SilverBack to become a strategically important supply chain partner to several of these projects. It has transformed the business. SilverBack is now embedded in the battery Gigafactory construction market and are working to overcome the talent and skills shortages that are a real risk to progress. SilverBack’s project staff have already performed more than 1.5 million manhours in these cleantech, decarbonisation projects. 


SilverBack is now building its presence in Germany and in other strategic markets in Northern and Central Europe. Other geographic regions are also in development and future announcements will follow.
